My International Scrapbook Day 2017

Although I work on Saturdays I make a point to try & make something on international scrapbooking day.  I'm cheating a little bit this year but to be fair most of my day I am not at home so I'm counting all weekend!  I had lots of fun making 5 cards & 8 layouts, successful year!
Quite a few of these were done with a challenge in mind but I was to slow to get them uploaded to count most places.  Sometimes it's hard to get everything done you want but that's ok.  I'm just happy to finally find time to scrap after months of studying!  I also didn't have any current photos printed so that gave me a chance to get some memories down on paper I've been meaning to.

Also because my birthday is the first week on May I always do some shopping.  I went to a local craft/hobby store & also did an online haul.

Hope everyone else had a wonderful iNSD this year!  If your interested in products used on any of the projects I made let me know, I'll be happy to help!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Team Tiger Tom 2016

Tomorrow morning in the cold & rain we will be marching for babies once again.  5 years ago we welcomed our 2lb miracle into the world, definitely not to any plan!  We were & have been very lucky but not all babies are.  This year is our 4th year walking & I really enjoy giving back.  Hopefully one day all babies will be born healthy until then we walk.  We are still looking forward to a fun morning despite any challenge we are up for it!
This layout was done right after our walk last year but I haven't posted it, perfect time to share!

Dying Easter Eggs 2016

Easter is tomorrow & that means having some fun on a stormy night dying eggs.
That reminded me to post this layout I did of our son last year.  He loves dying eggs but from the time he was a tiny baby he hated things on his hands or getting them dirty.  It was so cute when he asked for gloves so he didn't have to contently clean them.  He also wanted to dip each egg only 3 or 4 times which means we ended up with all different colored eggs, not just all brown.

Supplies used:
Craft Smith: Gradients 12x12 Pad
Doodlebug: Bunnyville- Bunnyville
Doodlebug: Easter Parade- Colored Eggs
Doodlebug: Bunnyville 6x6

Doodlebug: Bunnyville Icon Stickers
MFT: DieNamics- Stitched Circle Stax
Martha Stewart: Grass Border Punch
Ek Success: Scalloped Scallop Border Punch

Elf Antics 2015

Ok so I have neglected my blog quite a bit but I'm determined to move forward & attempt to post more over the year... We'll see how this goes.
I'm starting off easy I'm just going to post layouts that I've posted on other sites... Getting in the Christmas spirt I have a layout I did back in February of our Elf & the antics she got into last year.  I have a confession to make, I love the idea of Elf on a Shelf but I think the little elf is a little creepy & is definitely not my cup of tea.  To each their own right?!  I decided I would still do elf on the shelf & found a much cuter Barbie version of a elf to use.  I'm still not happy with her but we now have a elf so it's all good.   My son also hasn't named her yet which is ok by me, I'm hoping by the end of this season she will have a definite name!  I love how this layout turned out.  I used picmonkey.com to group all my images from each day onto a couple 4x6 photos to make it easy to get on 1 layout.  I used the list at the left to list the antics from each day & to talk about our 1st year with our new elf.
I plan to do this same idea at the end of this Christmas, I think it will be fun to look back on & is defiantly different than my normal layouts.

I purchased the little elf from treasureboxdesigns.com, I think she's a perfect addition to the page.  Thanks for stopping by!
